Man, those ribs look great! I am concerned about one thing though. I don’t see much smoke. How much smoke do these things put out? Could two of them smoke an old empty 225 gallon propane tank?

Well done Brian. I always like to see how people do ribs. A buddy of mine bought a Traeger similar to yours and his ribs are absolutely top notch.

  10. Not to happy with …
Not to happy with Traeger pellet though, I don’t notice a difference in flavor or the look of them (I hear they are mostly oak). I buy pellets from The Other Outdoor Store which is about 30 miles from my house. They are 100% what they say they are & you can see and taste the difference. Although they sell out very fast & I have been waitng for a week to get some, they are around $25 for a 40 pound bag. I included a shot of them in my beef jerky video.

  11. I looked at smokers …
I looked at smokers that were available locally which were the Louisiana & Traeger then decided on the Traeger. Don’t remember the reasons why but I am very happy with the Traeger. It didn’t come with the digital thermostat it was about $200 for the 180. They also sell one that only goes down to 225.
