Man vs. Food: What is this restaurant called?

I remember watching an episode of Man vs. Food, and it was a barbecue place. The owner put pecan shells in the fire to give it more flavor. The brisket looked so juicy, and the ribs fell right off the bone. They coated their meat in a special sauce. The restaurant looked so good. I’ve tried looking it up on the internet, but I can’t find anything. Does anybody know where this restaurant is, or what it’s called?

The Travel channel has a web site for Man vs. Food. It shows all the episodes with a little description about the shows & the town (city/state) & the food for that show. Hope this helps you.

Going to Super Bowl XLV. I have no means of transportation and don’t want to take a cab. What is the best barbecue restaurant around the stadium? Food quality is the first and only requirement.

What would be healthier Thai barbecue chicken or Chicken Curry?

I’m going out to eat with my mom tommorrow (when she gets out of the hospital) to a Thai restaurant. What would be better for me, Thai barbecue chicken or chicken curry?

They might use the curry to disguise that the chicken is older. Also if they haven’t used free range chickens then neither dish would be healthy. Chickens are full of antibacterial stuff to prevent salmonella. Have a vege stirfry or tuna salads. It depends on what has been wrong with your mother, a broken arm or stomach bug. When you get to the restaurant you will probably look through the menu and choose whatever you feel like right at that minute. Why you are asking us, is that you are feeling love and concern for your mother and are wanting to nuture her in the best way. Good on you! Have a lovely lunch and I hope she is feeling better.

Would you rather go out to a nice restaurant or have a barbecue at someones hose on the night of your prom?

Just want to know what other people think about going out to eat or having a barbecue. my friends want a barbecue and I want to go out to eat.
They say we will have our hair and makeup done then get dresses on after we eat. I like the idea of wearing your fancy clothes out.

Good observation never noticed this.
Well people eat at home or take lunch to work mostly. And family’s like going out more the closer it is to the weekend.

No. It just means that you aren’t one to follow the crowd. There nothing wrong with being weird anyway. Most creative people are "weird".

Sammy Walkers BBQ in Rowlett is good. ( My dad and Sammy were best friends in hs, I ate at the original place in Balch Springs) cheap
Big Bruces is ok
Longhorn BBQ in Cedar Hill is good. not cheap but you get HUGE portions.

I think they make delicious sliced BBQ sands. What do you like about this restaurant?

I used to think it was better, but the quality has seemed to have dropped off a bit over time.
